Swag Academy Review: Swaggy C Scam or Legit?!

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve heard of Swag Academy, the online program that claims to turn you into a forex trading pro in just a few months. As someone who’s reviewed countless digital programs, I’m here to give you the inside scoop on whether or not Swag Academy lives up to the hype.

Now, before we dive in, I want to make one thing clear: I’m not affiliated with Swag Academy in any way. That means you can trust that my review is 100% unbiased and based solely on my personal experience with the program.

In this review, I’ll be covering everything from the course content to the instructor’s teaching style, so you can make an informed decision about whether or not Swag Academy is right for you. And, as a bonus, I’ll also be sharing a better alternative that’s helped me generate a full-time passive income online.

So, grab a cup of coffee (or tea, if that’s more your thing) and let’s get started!

What is Swag Academy?

Swag Academy is a trading course launched by Chris Williams, who became known as Swaggy C after appearing in Big Brother. He started trading seven years ago and claims to earn over a million dollars a year. Impressive, right?

Before you invest in a trading course, it’s important to know that the financial industry is full of scammers. Successful traders who make millions usually run investment houses, not online courses. But don’t worry, Swag Academy is different.

Swaggy C’s unique teaching style makes trading easy to understand. The Swag Academy offers step-by-step video content, exclusive quizzes, a vibrant user community, and more than 130 videos in their video library.

If you’re not sure whether to invest in Swag Academy, you might have already watched their content on YouTube. They claim to be the fastest-growing forex YouTube channel with over 373K subscribers and 15 million views.

Recently, the course was officially shut down, but they are promoting a new course called The Living Trading Lab. It remains to be seen how this new course will differ from the original Swag Academy.

Who is Swaggy C?

Swaggy C, whose real name is Chris Williams, is a former reality TV personality who gained fame after appearing on the 20th season of the popular reality TV series Big Brother and later on The Challenge. However, he’s now a day trader who created the Swag Academy to teach others his trading strategies.

Swaggy C’s YouTube channel boasts a high production quality that is reflective of his TV background, with around 373K subscribers as of writing. He claims to have made millions in day trading and is confident in making over $10 million in a year, although there’s no concrete evidence to support his assertions.

It’s worth noting that most day traders are engrossed in their work as they need to monitor the market every second. It’s therefore unusual that Swaggy C has enough time to create videos and promote his courses. Moreover, if he really makes millions of dollars from day trading, why would he bother teaching others? As a result, his claims should be taken with a grain of salt.

In conclusion, Swaggy C is a reality TV star turned day trader and YouTuber who shares his trading strategies through Swag Academy. While his videos are well-produced and he claims to make millions of dollars in day trading, it’s best to approach his claims with caution.

How does the Swag Academy work?

Swag Academy offers free membership to access introductory lessons about analyzing forex charts. It’s an excellent foundation if you’re looking to start day trading as a hobby.

To get full access to exclusive learning materials, you can sign up for their GOAT Academy which offers four modules with different levels of training, from basic to advanced. Here’s a quick breakdown of what you can expect to learn:

  • Series 1 (32 lessons): Learn the basics of forex trading if you have no prior experience.
  • Series 2 (31 lessons): Understand the mental side of trading and the principles of risk management.
  • Series 3 (33 lessons): Discover advanced strategies for trading in the foreign exchange market, including emotional and mental challenges to avoid.
  • Series 4 (38 lessons): Dive deep into complex areas such as taxation and risk management.

Although it may sound overwhelming, you’ll only get access to about 10 hours of training videos.

The GOAT Academy covers topics like price bars, trend lines, candlestick charts, and price bands. You’ll also learn to recognize scenarios, set psychological levels, and act on them. Plus, the platform acknowledges that each trader has a different risk threshold and does not offer currency- or equity-based advice.

If you want more benefits, you can opt for the Pro membership pack. It includes all the Starter tier benefits and access to older versions of Swag Academy content. Both membership packs offer lifetime access to the platform’s resources.

Swag Academy also has a mobile app exclusively for traders. You can join groups to learn different trading styles, share your successful trades or look for trading signals, message other members for tips and advice, and suggest topics for future versions of the course.

However, the platform doesn’t let you buy or sell trading signals, unlike other platforms such as Sellfy or Sygnal. While members can share their trading activity on the mobile app feed, they cannot sell their signals.

Who is Swag Academy for?

The Swag Academy is aimed at beginners with no prior experience in forex trading.

The founder, Chris Williams, has stated that his goal is to educate one million individuals worldwide on how to day trade or invest for themselves and how to manage their money.

Recommendation: Here’s The Best Alternative

Does Swaggy C have a good reputation?

Swaggy C isn’t a scam. He’s actually pretty good at explaining the concepts he talks about, and he’s a charismatic presenter. So, if you’re interested in Forex trading, you’ll definitely gain some knowledge from his course. However, it’s important to keep in mind that his training is pretty basic, and it may not be enough for you to make a significant profit from trading.

One thing that may be concerning is that Swaggy C sometimes makes unrealistic claims about how much money he makes from trading.

It’s possible that he’s earning more from selling courses than from actual trading. He spends a lot of time uploading videos on YouTube and promoting his course, which is something to keep in mind.

It’s important to remember that investing in forex or stocks is risky, and no one can accurately predict the ups and downs of the market.

So, even if you follow Swaggy C’s advice, there are many factors to consider when trading. It’s not as simple as just following his course and making a lot of money.

How much does Swag Academy cost?

To become a Starter member, all you need to do is pay a one-time fee of $499.

If you’re looking for even more benefits, you can opt for the Pro membership, which costs $799 and gives you lifetime access to the program.

Just remember that you may need to spend extra money on forex in order to take full advantage of the course.

Swag Academy Discount

Unfortunately, The Swag Academy does not provide any discounts.

Refund Policy

If you’re not happy with Swag Academy’s forex trading course, you can get your money back within 30 days.

But there’s a catch: you can’t have watched more than 10% of the course.

Now, in my opinion, that’s a bit too strict. Most courses offer at least a 20% grace period before the refund policy expires.

So if you’re considering buying the course, make sure you keep that in mind before you start watching too much of it.

Praise for Swag Academy

1. Swaggy C Breaks Down Trading Like a Pro

Have you ever tried to learn about forex trading and found yourself lost in a sea of jargon? Swaggy C knows how you feel, and that’s why he explains trading in a fun and engaging way.

He’s got the skills to break down complicated concepts into bite-sized pieces that even a total newbie can understand. Whether he’s talking about risk management or technical analysis, he’s got you covered. You won’t be scratching your head wondering what he’s talking about!

2. Easy to Learn with Short Videos

If you’re like most people, you probably don’t have hours upon hours to spend on a trading course. That’s where Swag Academy comes in! Each video is only a few minutes long, making it easy to digest the material.

Plus, the whole course is only about 10 hours long, which means you can binge-watch it over the weekend. Not only will you learn something new, but you’ll also have plenty of time left over to do other things. It’s a win-win situation!

3. Lifetime access with a refund policy

One of the best things about Swag Academy is that you only have to pay once to get lifetime access to the training modules. That’s right – no monthly membership fees! And if you’re not satisfied with the course, you can always get a refund. It’s risk-free learning at its best.

Criticism of Swag Academy

1. Lack of Advanced Training

Although Swaggy C promises to transform you from a beginner to an advanced trader in just a few sessions, their course only covers the basics of Forex trading. If you already have experience in trading, then this course may not be the best fit for you. However, if you’re starting from scratch, then it’s a good starting point.

2. Expensive for Limited Content

The GOAT Academy, priced at $499, may seem overpriced for the amount of content offered. The course only covers the basics of trading psychology and risk management, so if you’re looking for more advanced knowledge, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

3. Repetitive Content

Swag Academy’s course includes content that you can find for free on their YouTube channel, making it feel repetitive. While the course does offer quizzes and PDFs, they may not be enough to justify the cost of the course.

4. Unrealistic Profit Expectations

Swag Academy’s promise of providing valuable forex trading insights and technical analysis is commendable. However, it’s important to note that the course might give students unrealistic expectations regarding profitability.

While it’s true that successful forex trading can generate significant profits, it’s not a guarantee. The market is highly volatile and there’s always a risk of losing money. Therefore, students should be prepared to put in the necessary effort and time to learn, practice, and manage their risk effectively.

5. Fake trading signals

Swag Academy has a vibrant community of traders who are interested in technical trading. Being part of the community can be a great learning experience, especially when you’re getting insights from more experienced traders.

However, you need to be cautious about the trading signals that you receive from other members. Some traders may share fake signals that could lead to losses. Always do your own research and analysis before making any trading decisions.

Is Swag Academy a scam?

Swag Academy isn’t a scam. Swaggy C, the founder, teaches basic trading principles in a clear and engaging manner without any suspicious tactics. However, the course’s $499 membership fee isn’t worth it for the amount of knowledge you get.

While the online course teaches technical trading tactics, it is an introductory course and won’t transform you into a forex trading expert, as Swaggy C claims. The program also warns that forex trading isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme and that profits aren’t guaranteed.

If you’re interested in forex trading, there are better and cheaper online courses available, such as the forex trading courses on Udemy that cost less than $100. These programs can provide you with the knowledge you need at various points in your learning journey.

Furthermore, you can also look into books on trading that you can get for free at your local library or YouTube channels run by people who trade for a living. It’s essential to research the person and validate their claims before investing your money in a course.

3 Challenges of Forex Trading

1. Trading against Professionals

Forex market is broker-driven and often lacks transparency, making it difficult to understand how trade orders get fulfilled or how one can get the best price. It’s crucial to deal only with regulated brokers who fall within the purview of broker regulators to avoid any mishap. While the market may not be under the control of the regulators, the activities of brokers are.

2. Influenced by Multiple Factors

Forex rates are influenced by multiple factors, primarily global politics or economics that can be difficult to analyze information and draw reliable conclusions to trade on. Forex trading happens on technical indicators, which is the primary reason for the high volatility in forex markets. Getting the technicals wrong will result in a loss.

3. High Leverage

Forex trading is available on high leverage, which can be both a benefit and a drawback. It means that one can get profit/loss exposure multiple times of the trading capital. Forex markets allow leverage of 50:1, so one needs to have only $1 to take a forex position worth $50.

While a trader can benefit from leverage, a loss is magnified, and forex trading can easily turn into a loss-making nightmare unless one has a robust knowledge of leverage, an efficient capital allocation scheme, and strong control over emotions (e.g., the willingness to cut losses short).

Is there a better way to make passive income?

Although forex trading is one of the most popular ways to grow your wealth and give you some passive income, the market is unpredictable.

Only God knows when the price will rise or plunge. You may be able to make some money in a few attempts, but lose it all in the other attempts.

So if you really want to make a stable and secure stream of passive income, I would suggest you starting an affiliate marketing business online instead.

In fact, of all the online business models I’ve tried, affiliate marketing is the easiest and most rewarding so far.
